NOW WITH LESS SALT

...though probably still bad for your health.

Wowsa!

Second of May 2008.

My, I haven't blogged for, like, EVER.

In the last nine months I have made a website from scratch (http://heartacheandheels.co.uk). I have started work at Number One Cornhill (opposite the Bank of England). I have bought too many clothes. I have ignored my blog. I have welcomed a new cousin into the family. (Irish. Male. And not called Porrick this time either). I have rejected males and had males reject me. More on that to follow... I've started using "^^" as an emote. I've eaten good food and drunken good cocktails. I've travelled. I've done a lot.

What are my upcoming plans?

To finish my website. To continue working my butt off. To buy more clothes (an investment, honest). To write more in my blog. To... welcome any new cousins into my family... To date more. To wean myself off using "^^". To eat and drink. To travel. To do more.

Friday 13th...

I had 'nuvva interview today. What can I say other than: "I'm keeping my fingers crossed"?

Oh - and who on earth invented pyschological interview questions!?!?

The road, train and tube were pretty much empty today - I'm assuming that has something to do with it being Friday the 13th. I think we have two this year; next one is in July or something.

Eh well, not being superstitious or anything, I bet I messed up the interview regardless of the date. ;)

Carry Me Down

Just finished reading Carry Me Down. It was very well written from an eleven-year-old's point of view. He's a child-man, 5'8 or so but seems emotionally obtuse. He's obsessed with finding out people's lies is not adverse to using fibs to get himself out of trouble. In the second half of the book, his parents split up, he has an emotional break down and gets sent to juvie. It was rather bleak but I'm not a big fan of the happily-ever-after ending so I found it a good, though provoking read.

Decided to carry on with my drawing today but splashed a little coffee on it. I got annoyed with myself for doing that.

I think I can use diluted bleach to get it off.

Life is tough sometimes. Sometimes I feel like an utter bitch for things I say and do, or at the very least a grade A nag. Crappy things that happen to you in life are supposed to make you stronger, yes? I logged onto RS today to see if Stewart would be there. He wasn't. I e-mailed Danny. He didn't reply. That's when it struck me; people let you down. I'm not saying this in a bitter way, just musing aloud. Maybe this is me finally growing up. [/end emo drivel]

I'm a bit hesitant to write about this on here, as it seems to have 'jinxed' me in the past, but I might be getting an interview for a job in the next couple of days. It sounds perfect for me.

Off to bed now.

I do blog every month... Honest

Hmm, maybe I should blog more regularly. I've gotten a bit erratic of late.
I met Paul, Sadie and Alyssa on Saturday. 'Twas pretty funny but rather strange indeed. Alyssa is very cute and made us all laugh especially when she started throwing chips in Paul's direction. Joe looked absolutely terrified at the prospect of looking after her for the afternoon. Poor man. Spose I'd better thank him (again) for a great day, even if I did spend the majority of it being absolutely freeezing cold! My fault really. :p
So far today, I've been helping noobs on Guild Wars, battling with error 7's and had to resort to drinking vodka and coke to keep myself entertained. And by 'resort' I mean 'last resort'... honest!
Trip to Prague in five weeks. I really can't wait.
I've also had some plans mentioned to me about Easter and ye olde Stairs Crewe. Should be a barrel of laughs.
